Week 7 Bumpdate
Another week, another bumpdate! I'm still amazed how much my symptoms change in a week. Pregnancy is so crazy!
When is week 7?
Friday, October 13, 2017 - Thursday, October 19, 2017
What’s the size of the baby?
Our baby is now the size of a blueberry, and is approximately 0.51 inches!
Waist size?
I have not added any additional inches around this week, and am still measuring in at 27.5" around at my belly button.
Symptoms?
Body: My skin has started to get itchy on my stomach. I'm assuming it's a combination of fall dryness, and my growing belly.
Increasing my fiber intake has helped with the bathroom issues from last week, but I'm definitely not "regular" anymore.
Sleep: This week's biggest struggle has been feeling exhausted. I am so very tired, and it feels like I can't get enough sleep. No matter how much I actually get... This amount of exhaustion is starting to make day-to-day life difficult. I'm anxiously awaiting the second trimester boost of energy.
Cravings & Aversions: There was one day this week that I want spaghetti sauce and noodles for an entire day. Just noodles and chunky red sauce. It was absolutely delicious when I was able to get home and make some.
Nausea: So far this week has been very light on a the nausea. I'm really hoping the latter half of last week was the worse of it.
Movements: Too early for this one.
Dreams: No crazy dreams that I can remember this week.
Stretch Marks: Still early for this one, too.
Gender?
Still no word on exactly when we will find out the gender, but take the poll below. I'd love to know what everyone thinks baby Fiser will be :)

Must have items?
Probably just make sure you have a good mattress and pillow. Because even with the the best sleep I can get right now, I'm still exhausted. I can't image what it would be like if we had an old mattress or bad pillows.
What do you miss?
I miss feeling rested after getting a decent night's sleep. Those days are long gone, because once I have the baby I'll probably wish I was only as tired as I am now...
What are you looking forward to?
I'm really looking forward to our next doctors appointment and having the first ultrasound. That day cannot come quick enough
Best part of this week?
We told my husband's grandparents, as well as his other sister and her family. It's so nice not feeling like we're keeping secrets from family anymore.
Challenges this week?
Just taking it day-by-day. It's definitely challenging to work full-time with this level of fatigue.
Hubby’s thoughts?
I'll be honest... I've been sleeping so much this week, that I haven't really talked to him too much about how he feels about the pregnancy right now. I'll have something for next week. I promise!
Since I documented my whole pregnancy on my blog, I figured it only made sense to write about Will's birth. I don't plan on getting too graphic with the details, but there will probably be some TMI-type information related to childbirth included in this post. So, if you're not into that, you might want to skip this one. Now let's get to the story (it's kind of a long one).
